Looking FLY on a Dime Right now I seriously swooning over Dalla Nonna’s calendar necklace. The piece has a unique vintage-y feel. Made of silver or gold, the necklace is a great customizable piece as a stone (blue, green, pink, red, white or yellow sapphire) is placed on a particular day of the month (you choose the month and day). Prices range from $150 to $400.
If the price tag is too steep, there’s a similar version on Etsy for $35. The silver charm is just as customizable, but instead of a sapphire, the chosen day is engraved with a star. Perfect gift to highlight an anniversary or birthday for a lady in your life.

"Designer" on a Dime Christian Louboutin’s Petal Sandal retailed for almost $1000 when it debuted last spring. Luckily, Ann Taylor just released their Camille Bloom sandal for $158. Though the petals aren’t as voluminous, it’s a cute spring or summer look and almost a tenth of the cost of those glorious red bottoms.

eBay is a wonderland. You can find any and everything through this online site.
And starting today (2/15), they’re offering Narciso Rodriguez for eBay. It’s described as “the first ever capsule collection from one of the world’s leading fashion designers: available exclusively on eBay.” Mr. Rodriguez has dressed everyone from Jessica Alba to Julianna Margulies and even the First Lady. The line features almost a dozen pieces, included a python printed tee, trench coat and a jersey dress (below, $270).
This lower priced collection is great for the gal who wants the Narciso look without the typical Narciso price.

shopping Kate Hudson was one hot mamacita at the Golden Globes. The Marchesa gown, absolutely stunning! But did you peep those heels? The Casadei Triple Platform Pumps clock in a 5.5 inches and $590.

shopping This Alexander Wang Corset Dress is certainly swoon-worthy and celebs like Rihanna and Paris Hilton seem to love it. If you can’t afford the $795 price tag, Asos’ Contrast Cup Mesh Dress is only $76! Hmm, I think I’ll go with the cheaper (identical!) version.

"Designer" on a Dime The YSL Tribute Sandal has been seen on the feet of countless celebs and it’s easy to see why. The leg lengthening T-strap and four inch heel is swoon-worthy.
But at $760 a pop, it’s extremely pricey for the average diva. Luckily, Urban Original has the same design for $13.99! I’m sure it won’t remain in your closet as long as the designer one, but it’s a cheap chic option.
The shoe also comes in black, lilac, yellow and gray.
I’m all for cheap, fashionable options, but I wonder how high end designers feel about others knocking off their creations?

"Designer" on a Dime I came across this photo of actress Zoe Saldana at the Star Trek premiere this summer (if you haven’t seen the movie, you need to. Seriously) and I fell in love with her stilettos. The entire look is cute, including the Emilio Pucci sequin dress but I really swooned over the Brian Atwood shoes. 
Cute, right? Well if you can’t afford the $680 price tag, DSW (my fave shoe spot) has a darn near identical pair, the N.Y.L.A. Bandit T-Strap Platform Pump for $89.95.
Super cute and affordable! The shoes also came in a leopard print, but alas, they’re sold out.

"Designer" on a Dime I’ve never been a huge fan of handbags (I prefer jewelry and shoes) but I love a dainty cluch for a night out. And I’m not afraid to admit I love Kim Kardashian’s style. Though I’m not really sure what she’s famous for, she’s a cute girl and a constant companion of hers is Christian Louboutin’s Triangolo clutch.
I can’t see paying $795 for a bag that can only hold a BlackBerry and a debit card, but DSW’s $25 Sasha Pleated Criss Cross clutch (bottom) is a pretty close match. You can thank me later for saving you more than $700!
