Trends for Less – Bodycon Skirt
The bodycon skirt, like it’s sister the bodycon dress, is for the girl who doesn’t mind showing off her curves. It’s great when paired with a showstopping heel and relaxed top to balance out the sexiness of the skirt.
I’ve been swooning over Topshop’s strappy bodycon skirt (left) for a while now. At $55, it’s affordable, but if you’re trying to spend even less cash, Forever 21 has a similar version for less than $20.
Both would look great and turn a few heads.

Thrifty Threads
It’s Friday so that means another round of Thrifty Threads where I showcase my frugal fashion finds.
You ever do a bit of spring/summer cleaning and find an awesome item in the back of your closet that you forgot you even had? Yup, that’s what happened to me this weekend. I found a fringe, cross body bag that I purchased from the Housing Works warehouse sale. I wasn’t a huge fan of fringe (too much of a hippie vibe), but this baby had me at hello.
I paired it with skinny jeans, a bright top and sensible peep toes for a Friday night out. Accessories really can make an outfit!

Last week I celebrated the big 2-8 and wanted to rock a fierce pair of heels. If I’m wearing a dramatic shoe, the rest of my look is pretty subdued. I went for an all black attire so my floral strap sandals were the center of attention. Aren’t they cute!?

Jeans: Forever 21, $12
Shoes: Critia sandals by Nina Shoes, free via Kitty Bradshaw’s 2 year Blogiversary
